Born & raised in Hickory, NC. Graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne University. Married to Joey Sadowski and have two adult sons.

Co-Founded McKinley Leather in 1989 in partnership with my father, Lewis (Jim) Mitchell.

Currently Chief Operating Office of McKinley Leather, which specializes in custom leather and fabric upholstered furniture that we sell to the Trade.

Served on the YMCA of Catawba Valley Corporate Board for 11 years, finishing my service as Chief Volunteer Officer 2018 - 2020. Earned the Adrian L Shuford Service Award in 2022.
