The Countdown Continues For The Home Furnishings Manufacturing Solutions Expo

The Countdown Continues For The Home Furnishings Manufacturing Solutions Expo

GREENVILLE, SC – Preparations continue here for the second edition of the Home Furnishings Manufacturing Solutions Expo, the industry’s leading US event.  The Expo, targeting furniture and furnishings producers looking for the latest in manufacturing technology, is set for this July 18 and 19 at the TD Convention Center here. The venue is ideally situated for Carolina-based companies who can visit the show conveniently without extensive travel and represents an improvement over last year’s initial show in Atlanta.

Prime show space is still available for exhibitors, offered on a first-come basis, as are additional incentives, including:

  • An opportunity to participate in the Exhibitor Presentation schedule of the Expo. Only a few slots remain open on the program.
  • Promotional sponsorships on key show positions, including giveaway bags, badge holders and banners.
  • Key advertising positions in the show online and print directories and guides.

The Expo features suppliers offering the latest products, services, equipment and innovative machinery, warehousing, technology, financial, and logistics services for the furniture and home furnishings manufacturing industry. The event also offers a two-day educational program developed by top leaders in the industry discussing regulatory environmental policy, new technologies and other manufacturing innovations.

The TD Convention Center is just a short drive away from the key furniture manufacturing centers in High Point and Hickory, NC, and features over 280,000-square feet of exhibition space, state-of-the-art free wifi service, convenient free parking and a number of dining choices. It is one of the largest exhibition venues in the South.

The feedback from the initial show was overwhelmingly positive on the need for a place for furniture companies to meet with their suppliers. Said Mike Jarnigan, president of Woodhaven Furniture, a division of Aaron’s, “We wanted to come and talk to the people we do business with here as well as see if there are other people we should be doing business with. “This is a positive market and one that’s needed since the others like it have gone away.” Danny Black, general manager for Jackson Furniture Industries agreed. “We actually saw some things that excited us very much in the auto cutting exhibits. Saw a 3D CAD program that was very impressive and now we are actually looking at making a purchase in that area.” Added Charles Piekenbrock, vice president of strategic sourcing for Flexsteel Industries, Inc., “I thought it was very beneficial for us to attend the show.”

More information on exhibiting and attending the HFMS Expo is available at www.HFMSE.com or by contacting Lorie Gross, show director, at 404-449-4227, lorie.gross@expodevco.com.
