Exhibitor Count Climbs For The Home Furnishings Manufacturing Solutions Expo

GREENVILLE, SC – The exhibitor roster for next month’s Home Furnishings Manufacturing Solutions Expo continues to grow with new companies signing on to show.  In addition, Zund America has been announced as the title sponsor for the Manufacturing Excellence Awards, which are being handed out for the first time to honor companies for their efforts in furniture production.

The Expo is scheduled for July 18-19 at the TD Convention Center in Greenville, SC, in the heart of the Carolinas furniture-manufacturing region. It features a wide variety of exhibitors showcasing the latest in manufacturing equipment, systems, software and technology specifically developed for the furniture and home furnishings industry.

Among those new to the exhibition floor will be: American Foam and Fabric, Fibrix, Schneider National, Guardsman, Southern Carlson, BMT-Interbiz and Furniture Solutions Network.  They join a roster that features many of the leading companies in the field, including Hickory Springs, Clarity Web Solutions, Leggett & Platt’s Global Systems Group, Heico, Softwear Automation and Zund.  

Zund, as the title sponsor for the Manufacturing Excellence Awards, will host the winners in six categories recognizing leaders in specific areas of expertise of the manufacturing process. Winners include Ashley, Basset, Southern Motion, Hooker Furniture, A.R.T. Furniture, Glen Raven and United Furniture Industries. The awards presentation will take place during the show’s opening day, July 18th at 3:30pm on the show floor at the TD Convention Center with a cocktail reception immediately following.

Also just announced are three special educational/economic exhibitors who will be on hand at the Expo. They are the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina, the Leather Research Laboratory and North Carolina State University.
