The Manufacturing Solutions Center (MSC) at Catawba Valley Community College supports the furniture industry by providing structural testing to BIFMA standards, as well as testing of upholstery and other furniture materials. The Center also provides textile product development and testing services, as well as houses an incubator for manufacturing startups.
